Did Scooter roll a frag grenade through a shield barrier? If not, how did he kill Xor1an?
It turns out that the grenade stayed on Scooter's side, but the splash damage did go through the barrier. Also, those things on the wall? They're explosive boxes. The grenade set them off, and they killed Xor1an.

Xor1an sticks Scooter and cenotaph in quick succession, leaving Zolimox with nobody to shoot with those dual spikers.
