Lunchtime Halo Highlights: 2008-04-28

A big battle's going on out in the upper circular area. Scooter stays out of the fray and snipes FDragon when we strays out of the bubble shield.

Scooter and Zolimox face off with Xor1an and FDragon (firing the spiker) in the background. (After this Scooter and Zolimox killed each other with grenades, FDragon killed Xor1an.)

Another kind of Halo

Xor1an's carbine head-shot forms a ring around cenotaph's head.

Two Assassinations

Xor1an assassinates Doobie, then Zolimox assassinates Xor1an as he lands on him.

Xor1an gets a triple kill. While he tries to recover in a bubble shield, Zolimox sneaks up and kills him from behind.

As cenotaph is coming uphill towards Scooter, Scooter bounces a grenade off cenotaph's face. It lands right at cenotaph's feet, setting him up for Scooter's battle rifle finish.

Carbine Plumbing
(I wondered what was supposed to flow through those pipes.)

cenotaph kills cazador with a carbine round through the pipe segment where the active camo spawns. (That's Scooter in the background.)

Scooter's frag grenade kills Doobie, denying FDragon a laser kill.

Nulltrue

FDragon gets a bull-true medal on cenotaph with the needler. Note that FDragon reloads during this sequence.

Sniper Head-shot?

Zolimox kills Scooter at point-blank range with the beam rifle and earns a sniper medal. (The avatar's body position and where the player's targeting reticle points do not always agree.)

Xor1an follows cenotaph's leader nav point and hammers him over the edge.

Doobie hammers FDragon over the edge. FDragon manages to shoot Doobie enough times with his plasma rifle and spiker before dropping out of the line of sight to kill Doobie in return.

Zolimox does a hammer-assisted jump between levels.

Xor1an tries (and fails) to escape FDragon's laser by jumping down a level.

cenotaph lasers Doobie's Wraith from across the map.

Scooter finds Xor1an and cenotaph fighting. Scooter snipes Xor1an during one of his jumps, denying cenotaph a kill.
